I have been wanting to own a bicycle for a few years now, since my last mountain bike broke down and it was already old and rusty anyway (and my parents threw it out without me knowing) Since everyone I know is getting fixed gear bikes, I've been researching about it and I must admit.. they look awesome and it made me want to own one! I'm going to get one soon, but I'm building it from scratch. Here's some of my inspirations, taken from various sites on the web.

I definitely want mine to look vintage!

Stella McCartney Chandelier.

It seems there's no end to Stella McCartney's creativity. An animal lover, Stella has often used the silhouette of a horse in her textiles and fashion design. Now she's reprised Lucky Spot, a gorgeous crystal "chandelier" installation at Belsay Castle in the UK. Lucky Spot was originally created by the fashion designer back in 2004 for a special exhibit at the castle, and has returned (her/him) there in a special engagement for the Easter Holidays.
Stella McCartney was inspired to create Lucky Spot as a response to the beauty of Belsay Castle with it's medieval architecture and mystical quarry garden. According to Belsay Castle officials, "she wanted to create something magical, romantic and visually stunning. She designed a jewelled curtain of thousands of Swarovski crystals that hung in the shape of a horse from the ceiling in the Castle's Great Hall." As you can see it's remarkable. - source: Bloomalicious

A BIZARRE Collaboration.
I did a collaboration with my good friend Sydney of Bizarre, a clothing label under the roof of Association of Division (they're also the brains behind Notorious Fam and Proud Parents.
Here are some designs that I have worked on;

Umeric.
This might be a little old, but I still think it's GOLD. This is a showreel from Umeric, a design studio based in Sydney, Australia. One of the founders hail from New Zealand. I first saw this showreel when they were one of the spokespeople at Semi-Permanent '05.
I love how they use drum n' bass as the background music. It goes really well with the overall visuals.

Fabric Series: Best Covers.
If you like dance music then the Fabric series is not foreign to your ears. Fabric, which actually started out as a club in London has been releasing mixtapes specially made by well-known DJs around the world since 2001. From the very beginning, the first Fabric CD by Craig Richards - I've been hooked, even just by looking at the covers. If you notice, there's a pattern - with every 3 CDs released, there's a change of style and design of the covers. I love how these covers are almost completely void of emotions, almost too simple, a little eerie sometimes... yet they draw so much interest in me.
My favorite covers are from series 16, 17 and 18. Followed closely by series 37, 38, 39. Then third place would be series 40, 41 and 42.
Anyway, I'll take you over to look at these amazing covers. The first batch of covers are from series 16 (Eddie Richards), 17 (Akufen) and 18 (Baby Mammoth, Beige & Solid Doctor). These are simply an elaborate montage of different parts of different animals that are combined together to create some kind of a mythical creature of some sort. These covers exudes majesty and feels very enigmatic.
I must recommend you the Akufen mix. It's really awesome, you should give it a listen.

Second cover series that I like are from series 37 (Steve Bug), 38 (M.A.N.D.Y.) and 39 (Robert Hood). These covers reminded me a bit of horror movies - those with immortal killers and a dozen of sequels like Friday the 13th or Halloween combined with 50s/60s sci-fi movie posters like The Day The Earth Stood Still and Creature From The Black Lagoon. It creeps me out a little, but the idea behind these covers are simply amazing. Simple - but amazing nonetheless.
On the side note, Steve Bug and M.A.N.D.Y. did a fantastic job on their own respective mixes. Robert Hood's mix is great as well, only it's not really my cup of tea.

Last but not least, the third batch. I love the simplicity of these covers, yet they convey so much emotion. Just by looking at these you'll feel good inside. These are from series 40 (Mark Farina), 41 (Luciano) and 42 (Âme). All three are great mixes on their own; Mark Farina for his uptempo disco-house, Luciano for his ethnic, samba beats and Âme delivers with their cold, minimal sound.

The latest release, Fabric 43 is done by Metro Area, one of my favorite dance artists. However, I don't think the design for the cover is remotely as good as the previous three.
I'm still waiting for the next two releases. Hopefully when I see the other two designs and I see all three put next to each other, I would change my mind.
I'm crossing my fingers!
